Task 3: Organize all paperwork (create an outline with pros and cons), and meet once a week with all staff who are involved in the project. Send e-mail for the second meeting. Review the first meeting with the Chairperson of CIS, Engineering, and CNS Departments. Meet with staff for arranging the second meeting.
Task 4: Prepare for next meeting and review all resources. Proceed, and send via e-mail the second meeting date.
After I organized all paperwork for the demonstrations of the meeting with the staff involved, and I discussed some points about the redesign of the network systems, the staff and I made some adjustments during the meeting.[Completed]
These adjustments have been implemented into the new system design for developing a faster and more secure network. I have explained the pros and cons of these changes in the meeting.[In Progress]
The staff involved has responded and agreed with the paperwork. It has been approved after reviewing all documentation from the first meeting.[Ongoing]
My accomplishment has been the implementation for the new Internet2: a VIp6 Hybrid. All chairpersons of all departments have decided to put in work for the new system.[In Progress]
After putting in order all tasks and reviewing all resources, I have proceeded with the project, sending via e-mail all the results and agreements during the meeting.[Completed]
The goals of the new network are to provide the best resources available in all campuses where students, faculty and staff should approach with the new applied redesign network plan.
- Provide an efficient technology and support in all campuses infrastructure.
- Policies and procedures where is demonstrating the new technology, security, infrastructure, IT resources, data privacy, and intellectual property.
- Creating a new fund plan for supporting all technology update.
- Continue collaborating and supporting this technology.[In Progress]
Sending a reminder for the next meeting day. [Complete]
Task 3 and Task 4 has been completed.
The primary goals were a major accomplishment and the major role has been developed the strategies that we have showed at the beginning to the committee
1) What helpful feedback did you get in the class (instructor, classmates) and outside the class (user, stakeholder, beneficiary, mentor, expert advisor, others)? What did you learn from this feedback?
Always is helped the feedback from all, including more learning when I am receiving new advising for a better implementation.
2) What resources did you use this week (e.g., people, money, equipment, systems, or software)? Did you add new resources? What was your learning?
I have used Internet for sending e-mails to all committee, MSOffice Word
3) What research did you perform this week that was assisting and/or literature based? What is your findings/learning?

This website has valuable information that has taught me how to make a better implementation in this new project, and how to avoid mistakes. Also, how to implement the new technologies, infrastructure, software, hardware, maintenance, upgradings It is vital for the new infrastructure. In addition to the requirements and implementation of this project, I have learned how to plan it and what steps I need to consider, such as the following:
-Capability of access including robust, routed connections to the Internet
-Connected workstations that provide access to local and global systems, resources, and people
-Capacity that allows the use of images, voice, video, and text data
-Expansion potential that is scaleable, flexible, and sustainable
-Potential for community expansion
-Flexibility to use a variety of applications including the World Wide Web
-Costs including installation, training, and operating costs
-Security including several layers of protection and encryption
-Controls to reduce unacceptable site access by students
-Guarantees of capacity, priority use, and access during peak time
The costs, connection speeds, maintenance, and managemente it has helped to be more clear this project. Considering too the needed to sustain the infrastructure:
-Infrastructure Technology Support
-State Protocols and Standards Network
-Support and Management Review Process Professional Developmen
-Hub Site Equipment Comparison of Bandwidth Rates Acceptable Use Policies

In a simple language, this article has taught me how to do an effective project, especially in that it is gives tips for hiring appropriate people, documenting all steps during the development of the project and the realization of the goals that we have proposed.

This website has been an influence on my efforts because it covers plans that have already been applied in colleges and universities linking in the best components of the processes for our education. It teach us the best strategies to be implemented and transforming the usage of new technology, and how this new infrastructure will be more practical. The site describes the benefits of the new Internet 2. In addition, it covers how to build a solid fundation in this infrastructure and how to figure the expected budget, determine the appropriate equipment, and support where the MDC should begin to implement the more advance technologies, tools, infrastructure, and support services to students and all staff/faculty. It also, includes the policies and procedures for "protecting the security of IT resources and data, safeguarding personal privacy. The implementing plan involved the continuation of many ongoing activities, the reshaping or refining of some existing activities and services, and the developement of a number of new activities and programs."
Finally, the site describes the financial benefit that it could be once we implement the new systems and technologies. However, the new technology can help to control costs in growth areas. To choose this new technology and implement it depends on the choice of these paths, but the most important part is that the project will be successful and achieve the goals that we have put in place.
4) What did you learn this week in general in producing your project?
Continue learning more with the supporting of the staff and the resources found on Internet.
